Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first minute. She returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen won and beat Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for the TKO victory in the 2nd round. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. She also received an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was her first fight that she had in any major capacity. Ladd took home the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a majority vote.
